It is important that you know what is being reported on your credit and how your credit is being scored. Each person is given three scores, one by each of the credit reporting agencies including Equifax, TransUnion and Experian.  When applying for a mortgage, a credit report called a tri-merge, is pulled with all three scores. While all three scores will vary somewhat, they should be close in range.

When simply checking on your credit, it is not necessary to see all three scores. It is not unlike a biopsy. One score will not always give you all the answers but it will be a good indicator if things look good or if additional testing is required.

After you request a free credit report below, one of our Loan Officers will contact you for your social security number and date of birth. The Loan Officer will pull the report and then email your copy to you. The Loan Officer will also be able to answer any questions you have about what is being reported.

You may also contact www.annualcreditreport.com for a free report however, it will not contain a credit score. It will be a compilation of what is on your credit but your score will not be included.  This holds true for many on-line consumer site's offering a free credit report. If you request a score, you will be charged by those companies.
